I believe in creating a therapeutic environment that honors each person's unique experiences and cultural background. My practice is built on understanding, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can feel truly heard and supported.
My professional journey includes a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Mental Health Studies, and specialized training in cross-cultural counselling. As a BACP registered therapist, I maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development. My experience spans both NHS mental health services and multicultural counselling centers, giving me a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people experience and navigate life's challenges.
What inspires me most about therapy is witnessing the transformative power of self-discovery and personal growth. I've seen how having a supportive, culturally sensitive space can help people navigate not just personal challenges, but also the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural expectations. Every client brings their own unique perspective, and I value the opportunity to learn from and work with these different worldviews.
If you're considering therapy, you might be dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or cultural challenges. Perhaps you're seeking support in navigating life transitions or wanting to better understand yourself. Whatever brings you here, know that therapy is a place where all parts of your identity and experience are welcome. Together, we can work toward creating positive change while honoring your unique story and background.
